How much and how often should you exercise for heart health?

For optimal heart health, the American Heart Association recommends at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic exercise per week or 75 minutes of vigorous-intensity aerobic exercise. This can be divided into 30 minutes per day, five days a week. Additionally, it is beneficial to include strength training exercises at least two days per week.
